Artistic director Yuki Ogasawara — formed in Tokyo and at the Kirov Academy, a career on the stages of Dresden and Toulouse, now devoted to cultivating talent.
Gold at the Youth Grand Prix opened the door; Dresden and then Toulouse followed — over a decade danced professionally, a life measured in performances and the quiet hours at the barre that came before them.
Today her attention is turned outward — to the dancers coming next. She teaches so that a young dancer’s passion is met with rigour rather than blunted by it, and given somewhere to go.
That care — anatomical, patient, hard-won — is what she teaches now. Not steps alone, but the understanding that lets a dancer keep dancing, and keep loving it.
Each season the maison welcomes celebrated dancers and pedagogues — for masterclasses, coaching and open rehearsals alongside our own faculty.
Applications are reviewed by the maîtres each season. A short film of recent work, a letter, and patience.
